Compact OTG adapter for phones and tablets
This Fervit Micro USB 2.0 OTG adapter adds a standard USB Type-A female port to a phone or tablet with a micro USB host port. The 90 degree angled plug fits tight spaces around the socket. An extra micro USB power port supplies up to 5V 2A to the connected peripheral such as a flash drive or USB hard disk. It does not charge the host phone or tablet.
Replaces straight OTG dongles that block adjacent
The right-angled design solves clearance problems where a straight adapter would hit the device edge or a case lip. The jump is worth it when the micro USB port is recessed or closely spaced and a straight connector cannot be fully seated. Aluminium alloy housing keeps the adapter rigid during frequent insertion and removal.
Check that your device supports USB OTG host mode
Verify the phone or tablet specifies OTG host functionality before ordering. The micro USB power input is required for bus-powered peripherals such as mechanical hard disks; low-power flash drives may work without it. The adapter carries data at up to 480Mbps and is plug-and-play with no driver installation needed.

Questions about this item
Will the 90° left-angled Micro USB 2.0 plug clear a tight side bezel on my tablet?
The 90° left-angled Micro USB 2.0 connector is designed to fit alongside a female port even when surrounding space is limited, so it clears most tight bezels and cases.
Do I need drivers or a specific insertion order to make the OTG host function work?
It is fully plug-and-play; insert the Micro USB 2.0 plug into the host device first, then connect the USB Type-A peripheral, and finally attach external power to the extra Micro USB port if the peripheral needs it.
When should I use the extra Micro USB power port on the adapter?
Use the extra Micro USB power port only when the connected USB Type-A device — such as a portable hard disk or high-draw flash drive — requires more current than the host can supply; it cannot charge the host phone or tablet.
