This adapter converts a single USB Type-C or 19/20-pin motherboard header into two USB 3.0 20-pin headers and one Type-E header. It is designed for builders who need additional front-panel USB ports or internal hub connections. The GL3510 chipset enables 5 Gbps throughput across the shared bus. The board does not carry video, audio or Power Delivery signals.

Verify that your motherboard provides either a USB Type-C header or a 19/20-pin USB 3.0 header as the host connection. The adapter requires a SATA power cable from the PSU to supply extra current for attached devices. Without that auxiliary power, high-draw peripherals such as portable 2.5-inch drives may not operate reliably. The Type-E port is data-only and cannot be used for display or docking functions.
