A 90-degree modular adapter linking USB 3.0 Type-A hosts to USB 3.1 Type-C devices at 10 Gbps for data and power in tight spaces
This left-angled modular adapter connects a USB 3.0 Type-A host to a USB 3.1 Type-C device. It suits laptop or phone users who need to attach external drives or peripherals where straight connectors foul neighbouring ports or chassis edges.
The adapter passes USB 3.0 data and charging current but cannot carry USB-C video, audio or alternate-mode signals. The Type-C plug is reversible for insertion, yet the link direction is fixed: the Type-C end must face the peripheral and the Type-A end must face the host.
The link is rated at 10 Gbps, matching the USB 3.1 Gen 2 ceiling, so compatible solid-state drives or docks can run at their design speed. Buyers needing host-side Type-C or device-side Type-A connectivity cannot use this adapter.

The 90-degree angle lets you plug into tight spaces around the port where a straight connector would not fit.
It is the USB 3.1 interface ceiling; real-world speeds will be lower and depend on the drive, cable and host controller.
The Type-A end must be the host and the Type-C end the device; it cannot work in reverse or carry video signals.
