What this cable does

This Fervit cable connects a USB-A host to a USB-C device for USB 2.0 data and up to 65 W power delivery. It supports two-way data transfer at 480 Mbps and charges laptops, tablets or phones while they are in use.

Check your ports and needs

The connector on the host side must be a standard USB-A port. The cable carries only USB 2.0 data and power, so it cannot drive video, audio or Thunderbolt devices. Verify that your USB-C device accepts charging at 20 V / 3.25 A and does not require a higher data rate.

Build integration

The liquid-silicone jacket stays ultra-soft and is rated for 25000 flex cycles, making it easy to route in tight spaces around a desk or bag. The reversible USB-C plug inserts either way, and the 2 m length gives slack for charging while the device stays in use.

Questions about this item

Does the cable come with any adapters or do I need to buy a USB-C power brick separately?

The box contains only the 2 m USB-A to USB-C liquid silicone cable. A USB-C power brick capable of 65 W 20 V/3.25 A must be purchased separately to reach the maximum charging rate.

Should I choose this 2 m version or a shorter length for 65 W charging?

The 2 m cable is rated for the full 65 W 20 V/3.25 A Power Delivery spec; no shorter length is required to achieve that power level.

What does the 480 Mbps USB 2.0 rating mean when I plug the cable into my laptop?

The cable transfers data at up to 480 Mbps and carries power simultaneously, but it cannot drive USB-C video, audio or thunderbolt devices.
