Collapsible Diffusion Panel 150x100cm

The FIEWSZIHU FD-9 is a rectangular sunlight diffuser designed for photographers and filmmakers who need to soften harsh outdoor light during portrait, newborn, or product sessions. Its white nylon textile spreads illumination evenly across the frame.

Practical Limits of Passive Diffusion

The panel measures 150 by 100 centimetres when open and reduces to a 50 centimetre diameter disc for transport. It cannot amplify light or replace a powered source; it only scatters whatever ambient or artificial light already reaches its surface.

Spring-Frame Setup and Common Issues

A flexible steel spring frame allows the diffuser to pop open instantly and fold back into the supplied circular bag. The mechanism can snap back forcefully if released carelessly, so keep hands clear of the edges during deployment and collapse.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 150x100cm opened size and the 50cm folded size for my kit?

The panel opens to 150x100cm for full-body or group diffusion and folds to a 50cm disc that fits in most gear bags.

What does the 150x100cm measurement mean when the panel is set up on location?

It gives a 1.5 by 1 metre diffusion area, large enough to wrap soft light around a standing subject or a newborn setup.

How does the flexible steel spring frame affect the way the diffuser opens and closes?

The spring frame lets the panel pop open instantly and collapse back into the 50cm carry bag without tools.
