XLR condenser microphone with 16 mm diaphragm, 30 Hz to 20 kHz response and cardioid pickup for studio vocals and streaming
The FIFINE K669C is an XLR condenser microphone built for podcasters, streamers and singers who want a balanced signal path into a mixer or audio interface. Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on the voice while rejecting off-axis room noise. A 16 mm diaphragm captures detail across a 30 Hz to 20 kHz response range.
The microphone ships without a cable or stand, so you must supply an XLR lead and 48 V phantom power from your interface or mixer before it will operate. Built-in 3/8" and 5/8" threads let you mount it directly on most boom arms or desk stands without an extra adapter. No software or drivers are included.
Installation is straightforward: thread the mic onto a stand, connect XLR, engage phantom power and set gain. The 100 ohm impedance and 70 dB signal-to-noise ratio keep self-noise low, but the -43 dB sensitivity means you need adequate preamp headroom. Forgetting phantom power is the most common reason the unit appears dead on first use.

The metal body and 16mm diaphragm are solid-state with no moving parts, so no scheduled maintenance is required; only the external 48V phantom-power supply and XLR cable may need replacement over time.
The condenser capsule needs continuous 48V phantom power; if the interface or mixer cannot sustain that voltage the microphone will stop producing signal.
The passive XLR condenser generates no heat and adds no self-noise beyond its 70dB signal-to-noise ratio; all heat and fan noise come from the separate phantom-power unit.
