First R2R desktop DAC

FiiO K11 R2R is the brand's first entry-level desktop DAC and headphone amplifier with a full R2R architecture. It targets listeners who want the distinctive sound of resistor-ladder conversion without moving to higher-priced gear. The unit connects to computers, smartphones, tablets and portable players to upgrade their analogue output. It is not for buyers who need balanced XLR outputs or integrated streaming functions.

Fully differential 24-bit array

The K11 R2R uses a newly developed fully differential complementary 24-bit resistor array with four channels. Each channel contains 48 ultra-thin film resistors at 0.1% accuracy, totalling 192 resistors with low temperature drift between channels. This architecture delivers lower noise, fewer harmonic components in the FFT and a darker musical background. Both NOS and OS modes are available for different presentation styles.

Silver desktop chassis

The silver-finished chassis sits on a desk and provides single-ended headphone output plus line-level RCA connections. Front-panel controls select NOS or OS mode and adjust volume for headphones or powered speakers. No balanced headphone jack or XLR line output is included, so owners of balanced headphones or fully balanced speaker chains cannot use those connections directly.
