FindTape 1447S-GR Student Scissors

The FindTape 1447S-GR is a 7-inch cutting tool designed for students and hobbyists. Stainless steel blades provide a sharp edge and long cutting life for clean results. The soft comfort grip handle fits either hand, making it suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users. It handles paper, cardstock, and general craft materials.

Installation and common issues

No installation is required; the scissors are ready to use immediately. The most common issue is attempting to cut materials thicker than paper or cardstock, which can dull the stainless steel blades. Users should avoid forcing the pivot through dense stacks to maintain cutting precision. The ambidextrous handle eliminates fit problems for left-handed users.

Pre-purchase checks

Verify that a 7-inch length matches the intended craft or classroom tasks. Confirm the green colour aligns with any personal or organisational preferences. Ensure the primary use involves paper, cardstock, or similar light materials rather than heavy fabrics or plastics. The limited lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Make a few test cuts in paper or cardstock; the blades should slice smoothly without tearing or snagging.

What comes in the package and is anything else needed to start cutting?

The package contains one 7 inch green scissor with soft comfort grip handles; no additional items are required.

Which version should I choose for a student who needs scissors for both left and right handed use?

This single 1447 model has an ambidextrous soft comfort grip, so it works for either hand without a separate version.
