This reclosable fastener uses 250 mushroom-shaped stems per square inch on a polypropylene carrier with acrylic adhesive. It mates with Type 170, 250 or 400 counterparts for adjustable closure strength. The system replaces screws, clips or hook-and-loop in applications needing repeated access. Suitable for metals, glass and medium-to-high surface energy plastics.

As a passive adhesive fastener, the product generates no heat, emits no noise and draws no electrical power during normal use. Performance depends only on correct surface preparation and stem engagement. The engaged thickness measures .23 inches when mated. Closure life is rated for 1000 cycles under typical conditions.

The black fastener features a 140 mil carrier and adhesive layer with a 4 mil liner. Stems interlock for five times the closure strength of standard hook-and-loop.
