German-Made Dual Sharpener

The FindTape DUX Duroplast Double Pencil Sharpener in Marble Red is manufactured in Geretsried, Bavaria by a brand established in 1908. Its body is moulded from Duroplast, a Bakelite material historically used for the Trabant car body. The unit sharpens both standard and larger diameter pencils.

For Standard and Jumbo Pencils

This sharpener suits users who need one tool for two common pencil sizes in an office or school setting. It is not for buyers who want a single-hole sharpener, an electric model, or a sharpener designed for very thick carpenter pencils.

Duroplast (Bakelite) Construction

The housing uses Duroplast thermosetting plastic rather than modern injection-moulded polymers. This material choice defines the sharpener's weight, feel and long-term resistance to wear. Model reference DX9239.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the sharpener to my desk and what step do people forget?

The sharpener sits on the desk without bolts; the step people forget is emptying both shaving chambers before they overflow.

What part will wear out first and need replacing?

The steel cutting blades inside the Duroplast body dull with use and cannot be resharpened, so the whole unit is replaced when points stop forming cleanly.

What limit appears first during long sharpening sessions?

The two small shaving reservoirs fill quickly, forcing you to stop and empty them before you can continue sharpening standard or larger pencils.
