Tamper-evident security tape

FindTape tamper-evident packaging tape reveals a hidden "OPENED VOID" message when removed, providing immediate visual proof of tampering. The polyester film backing with rubber adhesive offers instant grab on corrugated cartons, paper, glass, metal and plastics. It is designed to deter pilfering of sensitive shipments.

Upgrade from standard packaging tape

Standard clear tape leaves no trace when peeled back, so tampering goes unnoticed. This tape deposits a permanent void legend on the container the moment it is lifted, closing that security gap. The jump is worth it whenever chain-of-custody evidence is required for pharmaceuticals, electronics, currency or crime-scene items.

55-yard roll on 3-inch core

The 48 mm wide roll delivers 55 yards of .9 mil film, giving enough length for dozens of cartons without frequent roll changes. It handles routine sealing of high-value parcels across the listed industries. Very high-volume operations will need multiple rolls on hand to avoid downtime.

Questions about this item

Will the 3-inch core fit my standard packaging tape gun?

Yes, the 3-inch core diameter matches the standard spindle on most handheld tape dispensers used for 48 mm wide rolls.

How do I apply the tape so the OPENED VOID message works correctly?

Press the tape firmly onto the carton so the adhesive bonds fully; the hidden legend only transfers to the surface if the tape is later pulled away.

Does the polyester film backing degrade or need replacement over time?

The PET film and rubber adhesive are stable indoors; the roll is single-use, so you simply replace it with a new roll when the 55-yard length runs out.
