Firestik II Heavy Duty Antenna

The FireStik FS2B is a 5/8 wave CB antenna built for vehicle installation. Its heavy-duty construction suits drivers who need reliable communication on the road. The patented tuning mechanism at the tip allows easy adjustment without tools. This design targets users who want straightforward setup and consistent transmit performance.

Broadband SWR stability

The patented top-load design widens the operating bandwidth so SWR stays lower across more channels. This behaviour helps maintain efficient power transfer during extended conversations. The antenna handles continuous duty without the SWR spikes that narrow-band designs exhibit. Drivers experience fewer retuning stops when moving between channel groups.

Upgrade from fixed-tip antennas

This model replaces antennas that require cutting or set-screw adjustment for tuning. The jump is worth it when you frequently shift channels and need SWR to stay flat without physical modification. It is not for installations needing a shorter whip for garage clearance or for radios that demand a specific connector not listed here.
