Scale & Detail

This 1/64 scale diecast model replicates the Mack LR Refuse Truck fitted with a McNeilus Meridian front loader in white and blue. Made of diecast metal with plastic parts, it features real rubber tires, a detailed cab interior, and a tilt-forward cab revealing authentic engine detail. The functioning front load arms have poseable forks, while the rear tailgate opens with movable hydraulic cylinders. A trash bin with a split-top opening lid is included.

Collector Focus

The model suits adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed, true-to-scale accuracy and display-quality finish. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging, preserving box condition for shelf presentation. Buyers seeking a toy for children's play or a larger scale for detailed diorama work should look elsewhere, as this piece is intended for display purposes only.

Display Integration

At approximately 6.25 inches long, 2 inches wide and 5.5 inches high, the model fits standard 1/64 display shelves or cases without special mounting. Pivoting front wheels allow subtle positioning adjustments on a flat surface. The detailed chassis and undercarriage reward viewing from multiple angles, while the self-contained trash bin accessory completes the refuse-truck scene without requiring additional purchases.

Questions about this item

Does the model need a display base or mounting hardware to stand on its own?

No extra base is required; the rubber tyres and pivoting front wheels let the truck sit securely on any flat shelf.

Can the front loader arms and rear tailgate be operated if the cab is tilted forward to show the engine?

Yes, the cab tilts independently while the loader arms, forks, tailgate and hydraulic rams all remain fully poseable.

How can I confirm the model is the officially licensed 1/64 scale version after unboxing?

Check for the First Gear branding on the packaging and verify the cab interior, chassis and undercarriage details match the licensed specifications.
