Ready-to-Fish Hook Pack

This pack contains twenty-five inline circle hooks built for saltwater and freshwater use. The 5X strong construction targets catfish, snapper, grouper, tarpon, striper and similar heavy fighters. Eleven size options from #1 to 12/0 let you match the hook to the bait and the quarry. Anglers who want a reliable terminal connection for chunk, cut or live bait will find the assortment practical.

1080 Carbon Steel Durability

Each hook is formed from 1080# high tensile carbon steel that resists bending under heavy load. The 90° non-offset point drives into the corner of the mouth without a hard hook-set, so you simply reel steadily when the fish moves off. This automatic action reduces missed strikes and suits both stationary rod holders and active fishing styles.

Upgrade From Standard J-Hooks

Compared with traditional J-hooks, hook-up performance can improve by over 80% while deep-throat injury rates drop by more than 90%. The design supports responsible catch-and-release by minimising internal damage and bleeding. It is not suited for anglers who need ultra-light wire for delicate bait presentation or those targeting species that require a different hook geometry.

Questions about this item

What hook point angle and non‑offset design does this circle hook use for corner‑of‑mouth hooking?

The hook point is set at 90° and is non‑offset, so it turns into the jaw corner automatically as the fish swims away, giving a reported 80% higher hook‑up rate than traditional J‑hooks.

What wire diameter and material give these hooks their 5X strength rating?

They are forged from 1080# high‑tensile carbon steel with a thick 5X wire diameter that resists bending under heavy loads from species such as tarpon, grouper or offshore tuna.

How do I rig and fish these circle hooks without the common mistake of striking too early?

Thread the bait onto the hook, cast or drop it, then simply reel steadily when a fish takes the bait — do not jerk the rod; the 90° point rotates and sets itself in the corner of the mouth.
