Everyday cutting tasks

Fiskars 1067266 scissors are designed for everyday cutting tasks around the home and office. The two-pack supplies a spare pair or allows one set to stay at a desk while another moves to a craft area. Straight stainless steel blades with a titanium coating handle paper, cardboard and photos. The ergonomic SoftGrip handles are sculpted to fit the hand for added comfort and control.

Capacity and headroom

Each scissor measures 26.4922 cm in overall length with an 8-inch blade span suited to general-purpose cutting. The titanium coating is three times harder than plain steel, so the edge stays sharp through repeated use on paper and light card. Heavier materials such as thick corrugated board or fabric layers will exceed the comfortable cutting range. The 0.159 kg weight per unit keeps hand fatigue low during extended sessions.

Build quality and daily use

Stainless steel blades resist corrosion while the titanium finish adds surface hardness for long-lasting performance. SoftGrip handles provide a secure, non-slip hold even when hands are damp. The straight blade profile allows clean, precise cuts without snagging. At 2.4892 cm deep and 11.9126 cm wide when closed, the pair stores easily in a drawer or desk organiser.

Questions about this item

Will the 8-inch blades on the Fiskars 1067266 cut through thick cardboard the same way my older kitchen shears do?

The stainless steel blades with titanium coating are 3x harder than steel and designed to cut paper, cardboard and photos cleanly.

How can I confirm the SoftGrip handles on the 1067266 are moulded correctly after unpacking?

Each handle should feel sculpted to the hand with a tacky, comfortable surface; the blades must meet evenly from pivot to tip when closed.

Does the 2-pack box for model 1067266 include a blade guard or oil, or do I buy those separately?

The package contains two 8-inch scissors only; no guard, oil or sharpener is included.
