Everyday 8-inch scissors for home and office

These multi-purpose scissors handle paper, cardboard, tape, glue, photos, vinyl and cardstock with ease. The non-stick titanium coating prevents adhesive build-up so the blades keep gliding through sticky materials. An ergonomic SoftGrip handle fits the hand comfortably for extended cutting sessions. A lifetime warranty backs the durable stainless-steel construction.

Simple maintenance with a removable hinge

The screw hinge can be taken apart in seconds to clean residue from the blades, restoring smooth action without tools. No special installation is required — the scissors are ready to use straight from the package. The only common issue is allowing heavy glue or tape deposits to harden, which makes later cleaning harder. Regular rinsing after sticky jobs keeps performance consistent.

Consistent cuts during long crafting sessions

Stainless-steel blades hold their edge through repeated use on paper, cardboard and vinyl without dulling quickly. The non-stick surface resists gumming even when cutting long runs of tape or adhesive-backed materials. The lightweight 0.1 kg design reduces hand fatigue during sustained trimming tasks. Comfort and sharpness remain stable from the first cut to the last.

Questions about this item

How can I check the 8" Titanium Non-Stick scissors are cutting cleanly after first use?

Make a test cut through paper or cardboard; the stainless steel blades should slice smoothly without tearing and the non-stick coating should prevent tape or glue residue from building up.

What comes in the box with the Fiskars 1073590 and what must I buy separately?

The package contains one pair of 8" SoftGrip scissors with titanium-finished blades and a screw-apart hinge for cleaning; no extra accessories are included so any cutting mat or replacement blades would be separate purchases.

Which version of the 8" Fiskars Non-Stick Titanium scissors should I choose for general home and office tasks?

The single 1073590 model with 8" stainless steel blades, titanium non-stick coating and SoftGrip handles is designed for paper, cardboard, tape, glue, vinyl and cardstock, covering everyday cutting needs in one tool.
