Compact On-Camera Flash

The Flashpoint FlashBack Senior is a white on-camera flash that folds into a 5 x 2.5 x 2 inch clam shell for storage and expands to full size when deployed. It mounts via a single-pin hot shoe and suits photographers who want a portable, self-contained light source with a guide number of 46.

Wide Camera Compatibility

The flash works with cameras that have a live hot shoe or a sync post, covering modern models from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus and Pentax as well as vintage bodies. It is not for photographers who require TTL metering linked to the camera body, or for those needing wireless triggering or multi-flash control.

Aperture-Controlled Automation

Exposure is set by matching the lens aperture to the f-stop indicated on the flash sensor rather than through camera communication. This fixed-guide-number design means output does not scale with subject distance the way TTL systems do, so users who need automatic power adjustment across varying ranges should consider a different solution.
