Replacement Flashtube FT200

The Flashpoint FT200 is a direct replacement flashtube for the eVOLV 200 Pocket Flash. It restores the original 200 Ws output so photographers can maintain consistent lighting performance without replacing the entire unit.

200 Ws output and 360-degree spread

The tube delivers a full 200 watt-second flash with 360-degree light coverage for even illumination. With a guide number of 197 ft or 60 m at ISO 100 it handles portraits and product work comfortably, though larger groups or high-key setups may need additional units.

Radio compatibility and system limits

The flashtube works with the Flashpoint R2 radio system and integrates with Canon, Nikon and Sony cameras for remote power control. It plugs directly into the eVOLV 200 head, so photographers using other monolights or requiring higher maximum output will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Will the FT200 flashtube work with my existing eVOLV 200 Pocket Flash head?

Yes, the FT200 is a direct replacement flashtube designed specifically for the eVOLV 200 Pocket Flash and plugs into the existing head.

How can I verify the FT200 is firing at the correct 200W output after installing it?

Use a flash meter at ISO 100 with a standard reflector; a reading matching the 197 ft / 60 m guide number confirms the tube is delivering its rated 200 watt-second output.

Does the FT200 package include a standard reflector or any modifiers, or must I buy those separately?

The FT200 is supplied as the flashtube only; a standard reflector and any light modifiers are separate purchases.
