Canon TTL wireless trigger
The Flashpoint R2 XPro II is a 2.4 GHz radio trigger built for Canon cameras and the R2 flash system. It delivers reliable flash firing at distances up to 300-400 feet. Photographers who need precise, cable-free control over multiple lights will find it suited to studio and location work. It does not serve users whose cameras lack Canon TTL compatibility.
Bluetooth app and 32 channels
Built-in Bluetooth links the unit to the FP Smartphone App on Apple or Android devices for remote adjustments up to 328 feet. Thirty-two channels and five TTL or sixteen manual groups let photographers manage complex lighting ratios without interference. The Sekonic L-858 meter connection via an optional RT-GX module adds metered precision. Shooters who rely solely on onboard controls lose the app-based workflow.
Group buttons and hot-shoe mount
Instinctive group buttons sit on the left of the display for quick tactile changes during a shoot. The hot-shoe foot mounts directly on Canon bodies, keeping the profile low for handheld or bracket use. No PC sync port or high-voltage sync terminal is present, so studios needing wired backup or legacy flash connections must add adapters. Build feels solid for daily professional handling.
