Replacement Hot Shoe for V850II Flashes

This replacement hot shoe is designed specifically for Flashpoint Zoom-Lion Manual Flashes, notably the V850II model. It provides a secure mounting point so the flash unit attaches firmly to the camera body. The part restores reliable triggering and synchronisation for manual flash photography. It is intended for photographers who need to replace a damaged or worn original shoe.

Compatibility and Installation Limits

The shoe fits the Flashpoint V850II Zoom-Lion Manual Flash and ensures consistent electrical contact for firing. It does not add TTL communication or automatic exposure features absent from the manual flash itself. Installation requires four screws that are not supplied with the part, so the builder must source them separately. Users needing a hot shoe for other flash brands or TTL-enabled units cannot use this component.

Physical Build and Handling

The unit is constructed from durable materials meant to withstand repeated mounting and removal during regular shooting sessions. Its compact form adds minimal bulk to the flash assembly and does not interfere with camera handling. No active cooling, power draw or electronic circuitry is present beyond the passive contact points. The part simply maintains a stable mechanical and electrical link between camera and flash.
