12-Inch Beauty Dish for Godox AD36

The Flashpoint StreakLight 12-inch beauty dish is built for portrait and fashion photographers who want a soft, wrap-around quality of light from a bare-bulb strobe. It fits Godox-mount StreakLight units and weighs 5.5oz, so it adds minimal bulk to a location kit.

Godox Mount Compatibility

This modifier uses the Godox mount to attach securely to StreakLight strobes including the AD36. The mount is the single specification that determines whether the dish will fit your flash; it will not work with Bowens, Profoto or other proprietary bayonets.

Grid Narrows the Beam

The included grid attachment limits spill and sharpens shadow edges, turning the broad dish output into a more directional source for dramatic contrast. Without the grid the dish produces a wider, softer spread suited to classic beauty lighting.

Questions about this item

How does the 12 inch diameter affect the quality of light on a subject?

The 12 inch size creates a broad, indirect reflective surface that wraps light around the subject for flattering fashion and glamour portraits.

What does the Godox mount limit or enable when attaching this dish?

The Godox mount ensures a secure connection specifically for StreakLight strobes, integrating the dish directly with that flash system.

Will the 5.5 ounce weight and grid set require a specific mounting method?

The lightweight 5.5 ounce design mounts directly onto the strobe head via the Godox mount, and the grid attaches to the dish to control spill.
