Lightweight Reflector Kit for Streaklight

The Flashpoint Streaklight Umbrella Reflector Kit adds a 5 inch reflector and adjustable shaft bracket to a Streaklight flash. Weighing 2.75oz, the kit mounts via a removable adapter that screws into the flash head socket. It aligns the reflector on axis with a parabolic umbrella for efficient light control. The design supports both studio and on-location work.

Photographers Wanting Soft Umbrella Light

This kit suits photographers who already own a Streaklight flash and want a simple way to add umbrella-based soft light. It does not fit other flash brands or bare-bulb heads without the proprietary adapter. Buyers who need a complete lighting system with stands, umbrellas or power packs should look elsewhere. The kit only provides the reflector and mounting hardware.

Adapter and Bracket Enable Precise Umbrella

The removable adapter secures the reflector to the Streaklight front element, while the adjustable shaft bracket lets you tilt and rotate the umbrella for exact light direction. Together they remove the need for separate boom arms or clamps when using a parabolic umbrella. The bundle contains no umbrella, stand or carrying case.

Questions about this item

What flash head must I already own to attach the removable adapter that screws into the front element socket?

The adapter is made for the Streaklight flash head, so you need a Streaklight unit with the matching front socket to use this kit.

Can I keep using my existing umbrellas with the 5" reflector diameter and adjustable shaft bracket?

Yes, the bracket is designed to support and direct standard umbrellas while the 5" reflector aligns on axis with the umbrella's parabolic shape for efficient light output.

How do I verify the reflector is aligned on axis with my umbrella after setup?

When mounted, the reflector should sit centered on the umbrella shaft so light from the Streaklight passes through the reflector and fills the parabolic canopy evenly.
