Built for Nikon iTTL systems
The Flashpoint Zoom Li-on III R2 is an on-camera speedlight designed for Nikon cameras with full iTTL integration. It delivers a guide number of 197ft or 60m at ISO 100 when set to the 200mm zoom position. An internal 7.2V 2600mAh Li-Ion polymer battery powers the unit for approximately 450 full-power flashes per charge.
Replaces AA-powered speedlights
Photographers moving up from conventional AA-battery flashes gain a full-power recycle time of fewer than 1.5 seconds and roughly 450 pops per charge instead of diminishing output over hundreds of frames. The jump is worth it when you shoot events or portraits that demand rapid, consistent bursts without pausing for battery swaps or slow recycling.
Check your Nikon body and R2 needs
Verify that your camera supports Nikon iTTL and the specific system features listed such as exposure compensation, flash value lock and High Speed Sync. The built-in R2 transceiver operates as a transmitter or receiver, so confirm you want Flashpoint R2 radio control rather than a different wireless protocol. A 2W modeling lamp is included for previewing light placement.
