Round-head speedlight with 20" softbox

The Flashpoint Zoom Li-on X PRO R2 is a Canon-dedicated TTL speedlight built around a circular zoom head that produces even, round catchlights. It ships with a Parasnap 20" softbox that mounts directly to the head for immediate diffusion. Power comes from an internal 7.2V 2980mAh Li-ion pack rated for about 500 full-power flashes per charge.

Suited to Canon shooters wanting portable studio

Photographers who value a round flash pattern, fast recycling below 1.3 seconds and the convenience of USB-rechargeable Li-ion cells will benefit. Buyers who need more than 76 watt-seconds of output, or who require a second flash tube for multi-head setups, should look at larger lighting systems.

76 watt-second output and 81-step manual range

The unit delivers 76 watt-seconds at full power and allows manual adjustment from 1/1 down to 1/256 in 81 discrete steps for both the main and sub-flash. This single spec defines whether the flash has the punch and granularity your work demands.

Questions about this item

Will the round zoom head and sub-flash work with my older Canon bodies that only support basic TTL?

The round zoom head and detachable sub-flash are fully TTL-compatible with Canon systems, so they will operate on older bodies that support Canon TTL communication.

How can I confirm the nano-glass face is preventing overheating during a long shoot?

The flash is designed to stay cool under continuous fire; you will notice the head remains comfortable to touch even after many bursts, indicating the heat-dissipation is working.

Does the 20-inch Parasnap softbox come in the box or do I need to buy a mount separately?

The 20-inch Parasnap softbox is included with the flash; it attaches directly to the round zoom head without any extra adapter or mount.
