Round-head TTL speedlight for Sony

The Flashpoint Zoom Li-on X PRO R2 is a round-head on-camera flash built for Sony TTL metering. It delivers 76 watt-seconds of power with adjustable output from full to 1/256. A Li-ion polymer battery provides up to 500 full-power flashes per charge and recharges via USB. The kit includes the AK-R1 magnetic accessory set for light shaping.

Check camera compatibility and power needs

Verify that your Sony body supports the R2 TTL wireless system before ordering. Ensure you have a USB power source available for recharging the built-in battery between sessions. Confirm that the round head form factor suits your existing modifiers or the included AK-R1 kit components.

Integrates with R2 wireless groups and magnetic

The built-in R2 transceiver lets the flash act as a controller or receiver in multi-light setups without extra triggers. The magnetic round head accepts the AK-R1 dome, grid, snoot and gel holder directly, freeing you from adhesive straps or brackets. USB charging eliminates the need to carry spare AA cells on location.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include the round head accessories or do I need to buy the AK-R1 kit separately?

The product is sold as a bundle that already contains the AK-R1 Round Head Accessory Kit, so the magnetic modifiers and gels are included in the box.

Should I choose the Sony-dedicated version or a multi-brand model?

This unit is built for Sony cameras and supports Sony TTL metering; select it when you shoot with a Sony body to keep full automatic exposure control.

What does 76 watt-seconds mean for actual shooting?

It provides enough output for on-camera bounce, small-group portraits or fill light at moderate distances, with 1/256 minimum power for subtle fill and a 1.5-second recycle at full power for rapid sequences.
