100W USB-C charger for HP mobile workstations
This 100W USB-C AC adapter replaces HP part numbers TPN-LA31, N57041-001 and N56858-001. It powers the Spectre Fold 17, Spectre x360 16, Pavilion Plus 14, ZBook Firefly 14 and 16 G11, and Envy 17 models. The unit ships new with a power cord included.
Sustained 100W delivery across multiple voltage
The adapter accepts 100 to 240V at 1.6A, 50/60Hz and supplies fixed DC profiles of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V up to 5A each. Under continuous load it maintains the selected voltage without dropping to a lower power tier, so the laptop can keep its performance state during long compile or render sessions.
USB-C Power Delivery limits applied
The single USB-C connector negotiates the highest common profile between charger and host, capping at 20V 5A for the full 100W. If the connected device only supports lower voltages the output steps down automatically. No other interface or proprietary protocol is used, so maximum power depends entirely on the laptop’s own PD implementation.

Questions about this item
Does the 100W adapter run hot or make noise when powering a laptop all day?
The adapter accepts 100–240V 1.6A input and delivers up to 100W through USB-C. It has no fan, so it runs silently. Warmth under sustained load is normal for any compact charger.
What cable or connector must I already own to use this charger?
The unit ships with a power cord. The laptop side is a fixed USB-C connector, so no separate cable is required.
Will the USB-C output work with my older HP laptop that uses a barrel connector?
This charger only provides a USB-C plug. It cannot connect to barrel-port models without a separate USB-C to barrel adapter, which is not included.
