130W USB-C laptop charger

This 130W USB-C charger replaces the original power supply for a wide range of Dell XPS, Latitude and Precision laptops. It accepts a universal 100-240V input and delivers up to 130W through a single USB Type-C connector. The unit is supplied new and ready for immediate use.

Thermals noise and power draw

The adapter draws 1.6A at the wall and converts it to a 5V or 20V output with a maximum of 6.5A. It operates silently with no moving parts and runs at normal temperatures for a compact 130W brick. No fan or liquid cooling is involved.

What the bundled cord changes

A detachable power cord is included so the charger can be used with any standard C13 mains lead. The USB-C cable is fixed to the adapter body, keeping the desk tidy and removing the need for a separate cable purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I connect this charger to my laptop, and what step do people often miss?

Plug the USB Type C connector into the laptop's USB-C port and ensure the cable is fully seated until it clicks; a loose fit will prevent the 130W output from negotiating.

What part of this charger will wear out first and need replacement?

The USB Type C cable end sees repeated bending and is the most likely component to fail; replace the whole unit if the connector becomes intermittent.

At what power level does this charger hit its limit during prolonged use?

The charger is rated for a maximum of 130W output; sustained loads at that level will run at the thermal ceiling of the adapter.
