- 65 W and 45 W output options power a wide range of laptops

- Built-in protection circuits guard against over-voltage, over-current and short circuits
Compatibility
This charger supplies 65 W or 45 W through two interchangeable tips: a USB-C connector and a 4.0 x 1.7 mm round barrel. It covers IdeaPad 1, 3 and 5 series, Flex models and numerous ThinkPad T, L, E, P, X1 Carbon and Yoga lines, plus several Chromebook families. Buyers whose laptops require a different barrel size or a proprietary connector cannot use this adapter.
Power delivery
The unit accepts 100–240 V input at 1.5 A and 50–60 Hz, then negotiates 20 V at 3.25 A, 15 V at 3 A, 12 V at 3 A, 9 V at 3 A or 5 V at 3 A over USB-C. At 65 W it handles mainstream ultraportables and thin-and-light workstations; at 45 W it suits smaller IdeaPad and Chromebook models. Systems that draw more than 65 W or need a fixed voltage not listed will not charge correctly.
Bundle and protection
The package includes the power brick, a detachable mains cable and both output tips in one unit. Built-in safeguards protect against over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature conditions. Users who prefer a separate USB-C cable or need a longer AC lead must source those accessories separately.
