Questions about this item
Does the 65 W USB-C charger need a specific AC plug or cable to fit a UK wall socket?
The adapter accepts 100-240 V 1.6 A 50-60 Hz input, so it works worldwide; you only need a local mains lead or travel plug that matches your wall outlet.
What is the step users often miss when connecting the Type-C output to a ThinkPad X1 Carbon or Dell XPS 13?
Plug the USB-C connector fully into the device until it clicks; a partial insert will not negotiate 20 V 3.25 A and the laptop will stay on battery.
When should the 65 W USB-C power supply be replaced if the output voltage drops under load?
Replace the unit if it no longer holds 5 V, 9 V, 15 V or 20 V at the rated currents, or if the cable shows fraying or the plug becomes loose.
