Product identity

The Floortex 1113423LR is a clear polycarbonate chair mat measuring 48 by 53 inches with a 10 by 20 inch lip. It is designed for office workers who need a rigid, flat surface that protects carpeted floors from caster wear while letting the flooring show through.

Before ordering

Verify that your carpet pile height does not exceed half an inch so the supplied grippers can hold the mat securely. The mat arrives flat and ready to use, but note the manufacturer’s tolerance of plus or minus five percent on all dimensions before positioning it under a desk.

What the bundle changes

The extended lip adds coverage beneath the desk area where a chair rolls most often, reducing wear in that high-traffic zone. The polycarbonate material resists curling, cracking and discolouration, and is free from phthalates, lead, cadmium and tin for a safer indoor environment.

Questions about this item

Does the 1113423LR mat ship with any fixings or do I need to buy carpet grippers separately?

The mat has friendly grippers moulded into the underside so no extra fixings are required for carpets up to half an inch thick.

The listing shows a 48 by 53 inch mat with a 10 by 20 inch lip — is that the only size in this model?

Model 1113423LR is supplied in that single 48 by 53 inch rectangular size with a 10 by 20 inch extended lip; no other dimensions are offered for this MPN.

What does the .09 inch thickness mean for daily rolling on a medium-pile carpet?

At .09 inch thick the polycarbonate stays perfectly flat and rigid, giving an easy-glide surface that will not sink, curl or dimple under normal office chair use.
