Questions about this item

How do I install the Floortex 1115223ER chair mat on carpet and what step do people often miss?

Unroll the 48 x 60 in polycarbonate mat directly onto carpet up to 1/2 in thick; the clear mat lies instantly flat with no wait time. The step people miss is confirming the lightly textured side faces up for proper ergonomic glide.

What maintenance or replacement will the Floortex 1115223ER chair mat need over time?

The 0.085 in thick polycarbonate resists cracking, curling, dimpling and discoloration under normal use. No scheduled replacement is required; simply clean the surface as needed. The material is 100 % recyclable at end of life.

What is the first limitation that appears when the Floortex 1115223ER chair mat sees sustained heavy use?

The mat is rated for carpets up to 1/2 in thick; on deeper pile the friendly grippers lose hold and the mat can shift. Dimensional tolerance of ±5 % also means the 48 x 60 in footprint may vary slightly in tight layouts.
