Clear Chairmat for Low & Medium Pile Carpets

The Floortex 1120023ER is a clear polycarbonate chairmat designed for office environments with carpets up to half an inch thick. It provides a smooth rolling surface for desk chairs while protecting the underlying flooring from wear and damage.

Polycarbonate Construction with Friendly Grippers

The mat uses polycarbonate material that offers twice the impact strength of PVC and resists curling, cracking, dimpling, and discoloration. Friendly grippers on the underside keep the mat securely in place on carpet, and the lightly textured top surface allows easy chair movement.

0.09 Inch Thickness for Immediate Use

At 0.09 inches thick, the chairmat lies flat instantly without a settling period. This specific thickness supports the stated durability and fire-resistant properties while maintaining a low profile suitable for the indicated carpet depths.

Questions about this item

Will the polycarbonate material need replacement due to curling, cracking or discoloration over time?

The polycarbonate construction is designed to resist curling, cracking, dimpling and discoloration in normal use, so replacement for those reasons is unlikely.

What is the thickest carpet pile this 0.09" thick mat can handle before the grippers lose hold?

It is designed for carpets up to 1/2" thick; beyond that the friendly grippers may not provide maximum hold.

Does the 0.09" polycarbonate mat generate any odor or off-gassing when used all day under a rolling chair?

The material is described as odorless and free of phthalates and toxic chemicals, so no smell or off-gassing is expected during continuous use.
