Anti-Static Chair Mat for Electronics

The Floortex 319226LV is a translucent vinyl mat designed to protect carpets up to 3/8 inch pile while reducing static buildup around sensitive equipment. Its anti-static formulation targets a surface resistance of 108 to 10? ohm for safer use near computers. The mat suits home offices and workstations where rolling chairs operate on carpeted floors.

Static Control Limits and Carpet Suitability

The PVC surface dissipates charge to help prevent shocks that can damage electronics during routine desk work. It is rated for standard pile carpets no thicker than 3/8 inch, so deeper pile or hard floors fall outside the intended use. The material contains no DIDP phthalate, tin, lead, cadmium or BPA, meeting restrictions for child-related product safety.

Gripper Backing and Lip Layout for Daily Use

A gripper backing anchors the mat on carpet to stop sliding when the chair moves. A rectangular lip measuring 20 by 10 inches extends under the desk edge to protect the transition zone. The mat measures 48 by 36 inches overall with a 110 mil thickness and a ±5 % size tolerance from manufacturing. Up to 25 % recycled content goes into each mat, and the vinyl is fully recyclable.

Questions about this item

Which size should I pick for a standard desk area?

What does the anti-static rating mean for my computer gear?

Surface resistance of 10 to the 108 ohms dissipates static charge, reducing the risk of shocks that can damage sensitive electronics.

How does the gripper back perform on carpet?

Moulded grippers anchor the 110-mil vinyl to standard-pile carpet, preventing the mat from sliding when you roll your chair.
