Clear polycarbonate chair mat protects low-to-medium pile carpet in a 29 by 47 inch rectangle

  • Clear polycarbonate protects carpet from wear
  • BioPlus material reduces environmental impact
  • Rectangular 29" x 47" fits standard desks
  • Designed for low to medium pile carpet
  • New condition ensures full product life

Purpose and audience

The Floortex BioPlus chair mat measures 29 inches by 47 inches and is made from clear polycarbonate. It is designed for office workers who roll a chair on low to medium pile carpet and want a smooth surface that protects the floor underneath.

Surface limitation

The mat is rated for low to medium pile carpet only. On thick or high pile carpet the polycarbonate can flex too much, making the chair harder to move and reducing the protection the mat provides.

Critical spec

The rectangular 29 by 47 inch footprint is the single figure that decides fit. Measure the desk area first; if the clear space is smaller the mat will not lie flat, and if it is larger the carpet edges will stay exposed.
