Product Identity

The Floortex FCECO124860E is a clear chair mat measuring 48" x 60" designed specifically for hard floor surfaces. Its thin construction reduces tripping hazards while the transparent finish preserves the appearance of the underlying flooring.

Suitability

This mat suits home or office users who roll chairs on hard floors and want a low-profile barrier that stays flat during daily use. It is not intended for carpeted surfaces or for anyone needing a thicker mat with gripper studs for carpet installation.

Setup Check

Confirm the area where the mat will sit measures at least 48 by 60 inches and that the floor is a hard surface such as wood, tile or laminate. Ensure the space is clear of obstacles so the mat can lie completely flat without curling at the edges.

Questions about this item

What type of flooring must I already have for this 48" x 60" mat to work properly?

The mat is designed for hard floors such as wood, tile, laminate or vinyl, so one of those surfaces must already be in place.

Will the clear 48" x 60" mat clash with an older patterned rug I want to keep underneath?

The see-through design lets the existing floor or rug show through, so the older covering remains visible and the overall style is not hindered.

How can I confirm the mat is lying flat and trip-free after I unroll it?

Walk across the surface and check that the thin construction sits smoothly without curling edges or raised ridges that could cause trips.
