Clear PVC Desk Pad 19x24

This Floortex desk pad measures 24 inches long by 19 inches wide and is made from clear polyvinyl chloride. The antimicrobial treatment resists deterioration caused by stain and odour producing bacteria. It provides a smooth writing surface while protecting the desk from dirt, spills and general grime. The transparent finish lets you place photos, cards or reference sheets underneath for quick viewing.

Antimicrobial Protection and Smooth Backing

The PVC material contains a biocidal ingredient that actively inhibits bacterial growth on the pad surface. This treatment extends the useful life of the pad by preventing stains and odours from developing over time. A smooth backing material keeps the pad flat and stable on the desk without shifting during use. The pad is sold individually as a single unit.

Size Constraints for Workstation Layout

The fixed 24 by 19 inch rectangle limits the protected area to that footprint, so larger desks will have uncovered sections. Users needing full surface coverage or custom shapes will find this pad insufficient on its own. The clear PVC construction also means the surface can show scratches from sharp or abrasive objects placed on top. Buyers requiring heat resistance or a textured writing feel should consider alternative materials.

Questions about this item

Will the antimicrobial protection on the PVC surface wear off and need reapplication?

The antimicrobial ingredient is built into the PVC material itself rather than applied as a coating, so it does not wear off or require reapplication over the life of the pad.

What is the first sign that the 24 by 19 inch pad is reaching its practical limit on a busy desk?

The smooth backing keeps the pad in place, so the first limit you will notice is surface scratches or deep cuts from heavy objects that eventually make the clear view less useful.

Does the clear PVC give off any smell or heat when it sits under monitors and lamps all day?

The PVC material is inert at room temperature and does not emit odour or measurable heat, even after continuous daily use under office lighting and equipment.
