The clear PVC formulation allows the underlying flooring to remain visible while providing a durable barrier.

Phthalate-Free Material with Recycled Content

The mat uses a unique PVC formulation that is 100% free of harmful DIDP phthalates, BPA, lead, cadmium and tin for improved indoor air quality. It contains up to 20% recycled material and is manufactured using 50% renewable energy at the production site. The product is fully recyclable and guaranteed not to crack, chip, break or shatter under normal use.

Check Floor Type and Size Tolerance

Verify that your floor is a hard surface or low-profile carpet tile, as the smooth backing is designed for these substrates. Note the manufacturing tolerance of +/- 5% on the stated 45 x 53 inch dimensions, with all measurements rounded to the nearest inch. Ensure the 0.08 inch thickness suits your chair caster clearance and desk height requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the PVC vinyl surface need any special cleaning or replacement over time?

The Advantagemat is guaranteed not to crack, chip, break or shatter under normal use, so no scheduled replacement is required. Clean with mild soap and water; avoid harsh solvents that could affect the phthalate-free PVC formulation.

What is the first limitation that appears during continuous daily rolling?

The mat is 0.08 inches thick and rated for hard floors and carpet tiles; under very heavy loads the vinyl may compress slightly, reducing glide ease before any structural damage occurs.

Does the mat emit odour or heat when used all day in a warm room?

The formulation is free of DIDP phthalates, BPA, lead, cadmium and tin, so off-gassing is minimal. PVC vinyl does not generate heat; it simply reflects ambient room temperature.
