Floor protection for hard floors

The Floortex FRPF129225EV is a clear rectangular chair mat sized 36 by 48 inches with a thickness of .08 inch. It is designed for home or office workstations where rolling chairs are used on hard floor surfaces such as wood, tile or laminate. The phthalate-free PVC formulation protects the floor from caster wear, scuffs and spills while letting the original flooring remain visible.

Upgrade from basic vinyl or no mat

This mat replaces thinner vinyl sheets that tend to curl, crack or discolour over time. The jump is worth it when you need a guaranteed no-crack, no-chip surface that stays flat and clear under daily rolling loads. It also removes the DIDP phthalates, tin, lead, cadmium and BPA found in many conventional PVC mats, improving indoor air quality for users who sit at the desk for long periods.

Check floor type and flatness before ordering

The gripper backing is made for hard floors only; it will not hold on carpet and can damage carpet pile. Verify that the 36 by 48 inch footprint fits your desk area and that the floor is clean, dry and level so the mat lies flat. Remember the manufacturer allows a plus or minus 5 percent size tolerance, so exact alignment with furniture edges may vary slightly.
