Compact outdoor shelter for one or two people

The Flowerhouse White Bracket shelter measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D and weighs 5.9 pounds. Its plastic frame and silver-coated fabric deliver UPF 50+ protection, blocking at least 98% of harmful UV rays. The square-top design maximises internal room for relaxing or storing gear during beach, camping, hiking or festival trips.

Suits solo travellers

This shelter suits buyers who want a lightweight, water-resistant canopy that sets up in minutes and folds to roughly 16.9in long for easy packing. It is not for groups needing space for three or more people, nor for anyone requiring a fully enclosed sleeping area with a built-in floor. Buyers who want a larger cabin-style tent should look at bigger models.

Check your packing space and ground conditions

Before ordering, confirm the folded dimensions of about 16.9in L x 5.9in H x 5.9in W fit your luggage or vehicle. Verify the intended site allows stakes or sandbags for anchoring, as the shelter relies on guy-lines and pegs for stability in wind. Ensure the 5.9 lb weight is acceptable for your carry distance.

Questions about this item

What ground surface and anchoring does the 5.9 lb shelter need?

The shelter uses its included fiberglass poles and sandbags for stability on sand or soft ground; no separate stakes or guy-lines are required.

How does the 14.33 in folded width fit with older beach gear in a car boot?

At 16.9 in long, 5.9 in high and 5.9 in wide when packed, it slides beside coolers or chairs without taking extra depth.

How can I confirm the UPF 50+ fabric is blocking UV as intended?

The silver-coated polyester is rated to block at least 98 % of harmful UV rays; you will notice significantly cooler shade and no sunburn on covered skin.
