Portable Sun Shelter for Babies

The Flowerhouse White Bracket pop-up shelter provides instant UPF50+ shade for infants and toddlers at the beach, park or backyard. Its automatic frame opens in seconds without poles or tools. A zippered front curtain and mesh back window allow adjustable airflow and visibility. The unit folds into a compact carry bag for simple transport and storage.

Sandbag Anchoring Limits

Stability relies on three integrated sandbags and ground stakes that must be filled with sand or stones on site. The system works on soft surfaces such as sand or grass but cannot be tensioned on hard paving or indoor floors where stakes cannot penetrate. Wind resistance is limited to the weight you can add to the pockets, so exposed or gusty conditions may still require supervision.

Setup Surface and Space Check

Confirm a flat area at least 14.33in wide by 9.06in deep is available for the footprint. The shelter height reaches 12.83in, so low overhangs or branches could interfere. The fabric is not water resistant, so avoid use in rain or damp ground. Ensure you can carry the folded bag and have a dry place to store it after use.

Questions about this item

What does the 50 in UPF50+ mean for my child on the beach?

UPF50+ means the silver-coated fabric is rated to block the vast majority of UV radiation, creating a shaded space that reduces direct sun exposure on a child's skin.

How do the sandbags and stakes keep the 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D shelter stable?

Three large sandbags fill with sand or stones and ground stakes anchor the corners, securing the pop-up frame against wind on beach or grass surfaces.

Does the mesh window and zippered curtain provide real airflow inside the shelter?

Yes, the breathable mesh back window promotes airflow while the zippered curtain lets you adjust ventilation and shade levels for comfort in hot conditions.
