Turntable and speaker system

The Fluance RT81TRI71 bundles a belt-drive turntable with a pair of Ri71 powered bookshelf speakers. An Audio Technica AT95E cartridge with an elliptical diamond stylus comes pre-mounted on the S-type tonearm. The speakers house a built-in 120 W amplifier and AMT tweeters with a waveguide. The complete system weighs 14.1 lbs and finishes in black.

Vinyl listeners who want one integrated package

Buyers who prefer a pure-analog chain without digital conversion will appreciate the matched turntable and active speakers. The adjustable counterweight and anti-skating mechanism protect records while the 2.0 g tracking force preserves groove integrity. Listeners needing Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a separate phono preamp will not find those features here.

Belt-drive turntable with built-in phono stage

The turntable uses a belt-drive motor and includes an internal phono preamp so it connects directly to the Ri71 speakers' line-level inputs. The AT95E cartridge tracks at 2.0 g and the S-type tonearm uses fluid bearings for low-friction motion. This all-in-one analog path determines whether the system fits a buyer's existing audio chain.

Questions about this item

Do I need a separate phono preamp for the RT81 turntable to work with the Ri71 speakers?

No, the Ri71 bookshelf speakers include an integrated 120W amplifier so the turntable connects directly without an external preamp.

Can I keep using my existing passive speakers with this RT81 and Ri71 system?

The Ri71 are active bookshelf speakers with built-in amplification, so they replace passive speakers rather than working alongside them.

How do I confirm the AT95E cartridge is tracking correctly at the specified 2.0 grams?

Use the adjustable counterweight on the S-Type tonearm to set tracking force to 2.0 grams, then verify the anti-skating dial matches the same value.
