Complete vinyl system

The Fluance RT84 turntable bundle combines a belt-drive deck, Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge, PA10 phono preamp and Ai61 powered speakers in a single package. A servo-controlled motor drives the metal platter while the high-mass MDF plinth and isolation feet suppress resonance. The 120 W Class D amplifier powers 6.5-inch woven glass-fibre drivers and silk-dome tweeters for room-filling stereo sound.

Ideal for dedicated listeners

Buyers who want a ready-to-play analogue chain with minimal separate components will appreciate the integrated phono stage and built-in amplification. Bluetooth input adds wireless streaming convenience alongside the turntable connection. Shoppers needing a lighter footprint, a moving-coil compatible preamp or a system that fits a compact desktop should consider alternatives.

Sustained playback stability

The servo motor maintains consistent speed across entire album sides without the drift common in simpler belt drives. High-mass platter and plinth store rotational energy, reducing wow and flutter during dynamic passages. The 120 W amplifier delivers continuous power to the 6.5-inch drivers, keeping bass controlled and treble clean at extended listening levels.

Questions about this item

Does the RT84TPA61 bundle include the phono preamp so I can connect the turntable directly to the Ai61 speakers?

Yes, the package includes the PA10 phono preamp which converts the turntable phono signal to line level for the Ai61 powered speakers.

Can I keep using my existing passive speakers with the 120W Class D amplifier built into the Ai61 bookshelf speakers?

No, the Ai61 are active bookshelf speakers with an integrated 120W amplifier, so they replace passive speakers rather than drive them.

How do I verify the Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge is tracking correctly after setting up the S-type tonearm?

Play a familiar record and listen for clean, distortion-free playback across the frequency range; the elliptical stylus should trace the groove accurately when the tonearm is balanced per the manual.
