It provides user selectable test voltages of 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V and measures insulation resistance up to 500 G. Automatic calculation of polarization index and dielectric absorption ratio reduces the influence of environmental factors on results.

Voltage and safety limits

Test voltages are limited to the four fixed steps of 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V, so the instrument cannot deliver intermediate or higher voltages. The safety rating complies with CAT IV 600 V, meaning the tester is not rated for measurement categories above 600 V. Battery capacity supports up to 1300 measurements at 2500 V or 6500 measurements at 250 V before replacement is required.
