Deluxe automotive test kit
The Fluke TLK282 kit assembles test leads, probes and clips for automotive electrical diagnostics. It is built for technicians who need reliable connections on vehicle wiring systems. The set is tested to 60 volts DC for low-voltage circuits. All components store in the supplied soft carrying case.
How it fits a workshop
Silicone-insulated test leads and industrial probes form the core measurement path. Back probe pins slide into weather pack connectors on fuel injectors, TPS and MAP sensors without damaging seals. Hook clips with plunger actuation grip pins or exposed conductors quickly. Alligator clips in two jaw sizes handle battery posts and ground points.
What the accessories change
TP40 back probe pins (five) reach sealed connectors that standard probes cannot enter. TP81 insulation piercing clips tap insulated wires without stripping. AC220 and AC285 alligator clips cover small terminals and large battery lugs respectively. AC280 hook clips free both hands while a reading is taken. The soft case keeps every piece organised and protected.

Questions about this item
What is the maximum DC voltage the Fluke TLK282 kit is tested to handle?
The kit is tested to 60 volts DC, covering typical automotive electrical systems without exceeding its rated limit.
How much heat do the silicone test leads produce during prolonged use?
The SureGrip silicone leads stay cool under normal automotive diagnostic currents because they carry only measurement-level power.
Does the kit require a specific multimeter brand to operate?
The TL224 leads and TP220 probes use standard 4 mm banana plugs, so they work with any multimeter accepting that connection.
