Product Identity

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada - Space Marines DLC is a downloadable strategy expansion published by Focus Home Interactive for PC. It adds the Space Marines as a playable faction with five distinct chapters, each offering unique lore and tactical options. The content requires the base game Battlefleet Gothic: Armada on Steam and a Steam account for activation. Release date was 20 June 2016.

Who This Suits

This DLC suits players who already own the base game and want to command Space Marine fleets focused on close-range combat and boarding actions. The faction ignores insubordination mechanics and can target specific subsystems during boarding. Buyers who do not own the base game on Steam cannot use this content. Users in blocked regions including RU, CN, and others listed in the specifications cannot activate the code.

Deciding Specification

The product is a Steam code that requires the base game Battlefleet Gothic: Armada on the same platform to function. Without the base game installed and a valid Steam account, the DLC cannot be played. Activation is restricted to select countries as defined in the blocked regions list. This dependency and regional limitation are the key factors for purchase eligibility.

Questions about this item

Is this the only Space Marines add-on for Battlefleet Gothic: Armada or are there other chapter packs?

This DLC adds the Space Marines faction with five playable chapters — Dark Angels, Blood Angels and three others — in a single purchase.

What does the Space Marines faction actually change in a match?

Their ships excel at close-range combat, heavy armour and boarding actions, plus they ignore insubordination and can target specific subsystems during boarding.

The code activates on Steam — does that mean I need the base game on the same account?

Yes, a Steam copy of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is required on the same account before this DLC can be installed and played.
