Expansion for The Surge

The Surge: A Walk in the Park is a downloadable expansion for the base action-RPG on Xbox One. Published by Focus Home Interactive, it adds the CREO World amusement park zone, new enemies, a boss fight, and additional weapons, armour sets and implants. The digital code requires the original game to play and carries an ESRB Mature 17+ rating. This DLC suits players who want more combat variety and loot in the existing world.

Thermals noise and power

As a digital download, the product has no physical hardware and therefore produces no heat, noise or power draw of its own. Installation simply consumes storage space on the console and runs within the thermal envelope already established by the base game. No additional cooling or power considerations are introduced by this content. Buyers who need offline play without an internet connection cannot use this delivery method.

Upgrading from the base game

The expansion extends the campaign with a new area, mechanics and gear that are inaccessible in the vanilla release. Owners of the original The Surge on Xbox One gain fresh challenges and equipment progression without purchasing a separate title. Players who have not completed the main story or who prefer the core loops unchanged may not feel the jump is worthwhile. The content does not add a new platform or multiplayer mode.
