Dual-monitor KVM for two computers

This KVM switch lets you share two HDMI monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals between two computers. It supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz and also handles 1080p or lower. No drivers are required, so the unit works immediately after you connect the cables. The metal housing helps reduce signal interference during use.

Multi-tasking setups needing instant switching

The switch suits users who operate two computers side by side and want to control both with one keyboard, mouse, printer and scanner. Three switching methods — front button, keyboard hotkeys and an IR remote — give flexible control. Buyers whose computers only provide a single video output cannot use the dual-monitor function, and anyone needing more than two connected systems should look elsewhere.

4K 60 Hz dual-display support

The decisive specification is the ability to pass 4K resolution at 60 Hz across both monitor ports simultaneously. If your workflow demands that refresh rate at 4K on two screens, this switch meets the requirement; if you only need 1080p or a single monitor, a simpler adapter may suffice.

Questions about this item

Does the FOCUSTEC KVM switch generate noticeable heat or fan noise when left running all day?

The unit has a passive metal aluminium shell and no internal fan, so it runs silently without adding heat to your desk.

What cables must I already own to connect two computers and two monitors to this switch?

You need two HDMI cables per computer (four total) plus two USB-A to USB-B cables to link each computer to the switch.

Will the switch work properly with older monitors that only support 1080p resolution?

Yes, the switch handles 1080p and lower resolutions alongside 4K at 60 Hz, so legacy displays work without extra configuration.
