Controls two computers with one keyboard, mouse and display at up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz via HDMI 2.1, with two USB 3.0 ports and button or hotkey switching
This 2-port HDMI 2.1 KVM switch lets one keyboard, one mouse and one display control two computers. It accepts two HDMI 2.1 inputs and delivers a single HDMI 2.1 output. The unit is aimed at users who work or game across a pair of systems and want a single desk setup. It is not suited for anyone needing to manage three or more computers from one console.
The switch processes video through an HDMI 2.1 chip that carries 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz in and out. HDCP 2.3 compliance keeps protected content flowing without handshake failures. If your workflow demands higher refresh rates at 8K or requires DisplayPort signalling, this device will not meet those requirements.
Two USB 2.0 ports handle keyboard and mouse while two additional USB 3.0 ports provide 5 Gbit/s bandwidth for flash drives, docks or other peripherals. The keyboard hotkey port does not support Apple keyboards; those must use a USB 3.0 port instead. Users with many high-speed USB devices may find the two 3.0 ports limiting.

It means the switch passes a 4K signal at up to 120 frames per second from either computer to the display without downscaling, provided both the source and the monitor support that rate over HDMI 2.1.
The switch uses HDMI 2.1 on both inputs and the output, capping the video path at the 2.1 specification so 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz are the maximum supported formats.
Each computer needs an HDMI 2.1 output and a USB connection; the monitor needs an HDMI 2.1 input. The switch also provides two USB 2.0 ports for keyboard and mouse plus two USB 3.0 ports for extra peripherals.
