Connects four computers to one DisplayPort monitor at 3840x2160@60Hz with USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse sharing
This four-port DisplayPort KVM switch lets you control four computers from a single monitor, keyboard and mouse. It is aimed at professionals and gamers who want a tidy desk without swapping cables. The unit supports ultra-high-definition video up to 3840x2160 at 60Hz with RGB 4:4:4 colour. It is not suited to users who need EDID emulation to keep window layouts intact when switching.
The switch draws power from the connected computers over USB 2.0 so it adds no separate power brick or fan noise. Passive operation means it runs silently and produces negligible heat during normal use. Power consumption stays within the USB 2.0 port budget of each host system. There are no moving parts to wear out or generate audible noise.
Five-foot DisplayPort and USB cables are included for all four ports so you can connect everything out of the box. Switching is handled by front-panel buttons, keyboard hotkeys or automatic port scanning. A semi-DDM USB pass-through mode widens compatibility to wired, wireless, mechanical and gaming keyboards and mice, though Bluetooth peripherals are not supported.

Connect each computer's DisplayPort output and a USB 2.0 port to the switch using the supplied cables, then attach your monitor, keyboard and mouse to the console ports. The step often missed is installing any required keyboard or mouse drivers on all four systems before the first switch.
The unit has no fan or replaceable modules. Keep the vents clear of dust and reseat the DisplayPort and USB 2.0 cables if signal drop-outs appear after frequent switching.
The 3840x2160@60Hz RGB 4:4:4 bandwidth ceiling is the hard limit; pushing higher refresh rates or deeper colour will cause signal loss or forced chroma subsampling.
