Four-computer HDMI 2.1 KVM

This FOCUSTEC KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and monitor control up to four HDMI sources. It supports HDMI 2.1 with 48 Gbps bandwidth, handling 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz. USB 3.0 ports provide high-speed peripheral sharing. HDCP 2.3 and Dolby Vision pass-through maintain protected content playback.

Sustained 8K and high-refresh operation

The switch maintains full 48 Gbps throughput during extended sessions, keeping VRR, G-Sync and FreeSync active without handshake drops. Hotkey toggling switches USB and video together in roughly 20 seconds after cables are seated. An included IR extender allows remote source changes from another room. Mounting brackets keep the unit stable in rack or desk setups.

HDMI 2.1 48 Gbps bandwidth decides fit

If your monitors and cables support the full 48 Gbps link, you get 8K 60 Hz, 4K 120 Hz and 1080p 240 Hz with HDR and 7.1-channel audio. Builds limited to HDMI 2.0 cables or 18 Gbps ports will fall back to 4K 60 Hz. Buyers needing more than four inputs or DisplayPort connectivity cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

Does the FOCUSTEC 4-port HDMI 2.1 KVM switch need active cooling or make audible noise when running 24/7?

The unit ships with an external power adapter and has no built-in fan; it runs silently and stays cool under normal desktop loads.

Which cables and peripherals must I already have to connect four computers to one monitor with this KVM?

You need four HDMI 2.1 cables (≤ 3 m for 4K 120 Hz) and a USB keyboard plus mouse; the box includes the power adapter and four USB 3.0-A cables.

Will my older 1080p 144 Hz monitor and USB 2.0 keyboard work through the 8K 60 Hz HDMI 2.1 ports on this switch?

Yes — the switch is downward compatible with 1080p 240/144/120/60 Hz and supports USB 1.1 and 2.0 keyboards via the dedicated USB 1 and USB 2 ports.
